Adding a New Version of an Existing Carrier

Adding a New Version of an Existing Carrier

For Third Party Integrations, if the integration for a given carrier partner is already done on Shipsy’s end, users can easily add a new integration from the list of partners Integrated with Shipsy.

Instructions

Navigate to Integration Setup

  1. Click the hamburger menu icon

  2. Go to setup and click on integration setup to expand the dropdown list

  3. Click on Carrier Partner

Carrier Partner Setup Page

  1. Once redirected to the carrier partner page, users can manage all carriers that have been integrated with their organisation

  2. To add a new version of an existing carrier, click on the add new carrier account button

Check for Existing Integrations

  1. In the carrier name field, users can check if the carrier they want to set up a new version for exists in the system

  2. If said carrier has been integrated with Shipsy, the dropdown list will auto populate with a list of suggested options.

  3. If the list does not auto populate, the carrier has not been integrated with Shipsy.

Setting Up New Version of the Carrier

  1. Input the carrier account name. This will be the distinct name used to identify this carrier account

  2. The Carrier Account Name allows for differentiation when clients have different credentials for various regions or billing accounts. For example, if your client operates in the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia, the credentials for the courier partner in these regions may differ.

Select Method of Integration

  1. Click the "METHOD" dropdown menu and select the relevant integration method.

  2. If multiple integration methods are available for the specific 3PL (Third-Party Logistics provider), choose the appropriate one. If not, select the default method.

Input the Required Information

  1. After selecting the integration method, a form will open with fields required for the courier integration.

  2. Fill in all the necessary details in the form.

  3. Pay attention to fields marked with an asterisk (*), as they are mandatory for adding the Carrier Account.

Submit the Form

  1. Once you have filled in all the required fields, click the "Submit" button.

Conclusion

Once the form has been submitted, the new carrier account set up will be complete. Users can now begin using the new version of the carrier integration for their shipments and bookings.
