Users can also upload .csv files to add multiple mappings in one go
Configuring a Custom Mapping
Once the user proceeds to create a custom mapping, a pop-up window will appear. All configurations for the mapping will be handled through this pop-up.Â
In this pop-up, the user will be required to complete the following details:
Carrier Partner: Select the specific 3PL provider for which you are creating the mapping.
Carrier Account: Choose the account associated with the 3PL if this mapping applies to a specific account. If it's applicable to all accounts, select "ALL."
Parameter Type: Specify the parameter (soft data field) that you want to map.
Conditions Checkbox: Enable this checkbox if you need to apply advanced filters or conditions to the mapping. Conditions are used in cases where users may want to use a mapping only if a particular set of conditions is met.Â
Organization’s Alias: Add the expected values from the soft data or customer input. You can also select a wildcard value such as "Default" or "Empty." Multiple values can be added here.
Carrier Alias: Define the value that will be sent to the Carrier Partner for the booking process.
Set Priority: Assign a priority level to this mapping. If there are multiple mappings, the one with the highest priority will take precedence. A higher number indicates a higher priority. More specific mappings have higher priority when dealing with the same value. Custom mappings always override system-defined mappings.
Save the Mapping
After configuring all the required settings, click "Add" to save the custom mapping.
