TAT Master

"TAT Master" or “Turnaround Time Master” is used in the logistics industry to calculate the delivery time of an order from the time of booking. End customer is always in need of the expected delivery dates for an order and this is where the TAT master comes into picture.

Prerequisites

TAT Masters can be defined in a unique way for each carrier and hence the contract that you have with the carrier must be informed to the Shipsy team. Shipsy has a mechanism to customise the contract as per your requirement within no time ensuring that your TAT is calculated considering all factors and is always accurate.

The image above is an example of TAT master setup for the carrier Account ARAMEX ACCOUNT. Note that the TAT can be configured differently for each account also ensuring that any and all deviations are captured. In the example visible above, the TAT is defined on various input parameters like Customer Code, Service Type ID, Origin Pincode, Destination Pincode, etc. where the output is TAT in days.

TAT master setup is not possible in case of Hyperlocal carriers as the TAT is dynamically calculated in all cases and is based on the traffic and the distance based on latitude/longitude making it impossible to map everything in a static master. Thus it is possible to get the TAT from carrier API in realtime as well as the Shipsy masters for different carriers.
