Carrier Allocation Capacity

Carrier Capacity tab would be helpful to provide all the relevant information for capacity of CNs for a given courier account.

Instructions

  1. Navigated to Shipsy portal > Setup section > Carrier Partner > Carrier Capacity

  2. Now, click on the ‘Add new’ button and enter all the relevant details:

Courier Account

Enter the 3PL courier account for which capacity needs to be defined. This is done by selecting the relevant carrier from a dropdown list

Capacity

Number count of consignments to be defined.

Frequency

Defines the capacity of consignments on a daily or monthly basis.

Data type

Defines field for created at or promised delivery date. This can be understood by an example. Say a carrier has a capacity of 100 CNs. Now if the data type constraint was for created at, the carrier would have a capacity of 100 consignments being assigned to them on the day the consignment was created. On the other hand, if the constraint is set for promised delivery date, then that means the carrier will only service 100 CNs when those CNs are out for delivery

Other Fields

Besides the above mentioned fields that are static, other fields can also be added or removed from this section when defining capacity as per the constraints that have been set up in the allocation config section

Post that, the details would start reflecting for the saved courier account.

Conclusion

For  any courier account, the maximum consignments that can be created or delivered at regular intervals.
