Deleting Allocation Rules (Multiple)

This article serves as a comprehensive step-by-step guide on the process of deleting allocation rules in bulk within a specific system/portal. Please note, the allocation Rule should have been defined/mapped.

Instructions

1. Navigated to Shipsy portal > Setup >Integration Setup > Carrier Partner

2. Navigate to the Allocation Rules section.

3. The rules are already created for the portal according to customer requirements.

4. Select the specific rules which need to be deleted by clicking on checkboxes, Click on the More Actions button > Click on the Bulk Delete option.

5. In order to delete all the rules together select all at once from the top and delete, it will delete all the rules.

6. The system will ask for confirmation of the action taken, Click OK and proceed.

7. In case a user has created a lot of rules, they will obviously be arranged into different pages since there will be a constraint in terms of available space on a single page. Therefore, when the number of configured rules is very high, pagination will be applied. 

8. The select on all pages button will select all rules on all pages that have been configured by the user. Post this, user can choose to download or bulk delete these rules as per their requirement

Conclusion

The Carrier Allocation rule created for any customer/destination/Hub/Service type will be deleted from the Allocation rule setup.
