Once all the masters are set up for the allocation engine, all you need to do is define your business logic in a low code manner and the system takes care of the rest. To set up a new rule or business logic, we need to understand this critical segment.
This is the list of carriers defined which are applicable for the selected Business Segment Logic. If the business decision is to segregate certain Business Segment orders to a limited set of carriers then this segment is to be used. The out of Carrier Account Segment serves as input to the Filter Segment.
It is advisable to limit the number of carriers based on business priorities as that results in lesser evaluations and quicker response time. In an ideal scenario, the number of carriers should be limited to five.
