Sorting Segment

To set up a new rule for the allocation engine,  we need to understand this segment.

Features

Once all the masters are set up for the allocation engine,  all you need to do is define your business logic in a low code manner and the system takes care of the rest. To set up a new rule or business logic, we need to understand this critical segment.

Post getting the final list of carrier accounts meeting the criteria defined in other segments, you define here the logic to pick one of these carriers. This is useful if after all checks the system is able to provide more than 1 carrier then the sorting segment limits it to the final one.

Multiple filters can be added depending on the business requirements i.e Cheapest, Fastest, Highest % of orders delivered successfully, Highest % of orders with first attempt within promised TAT

Example

If the system returns 3 carriers then the sorting based on Cheapest, Fastest will first check for carriers which are cheapest and if found then it would be the allocated one. If the rates also come out to be equal then the sorting would happen on delivery TAT.
