Setting up a Communication Provider
To use Shipsy’s communication engine, users first have to set up various communication providers for sending their sms, whatsapp messages and emails. In this article, users can learn how to use the Integration Marketplace and integrate a communication provider for their organisation.
Instructions
Follow these step by step instructions to set up a communication provider. Please note that users can configure multiple accounts with a single provider. This is to ensure that sms, email and whatsapp accounts can be separate, or that distinctions between accounts can be made as per the users’ requirements.
Navigating to Integration Marketplace > Communications
Click on the hamburger menu icon
Select Integrations and Integration Marketplace from the sub-menu
From the landing page of the Integration Marketplace, click on the communications tab in the left navigation pane
Selecting the Provider and Setting Up an Account
The communications tab provides a tile view of all communications providers that have been integrated within Shipsy

Basic Details (Sender Number, Authorisation Key/Token, URL, etc) - Every provider will have a set of fields that the user will be required to input to set up their communications. Fields like username, authorisation, api key will be provided to the user by the communications provider themselves which they will then input during setup
Clicking on save will add an account with the selected provider using the given details
This account will be visible as a line item on the provider details page
