Trip Manager - LM
Overview
The user can find all the trips that have been created in the Trip Manager Section.
The details for each trip along with the status of the trip can be viewed here. The entire trip can be tracked with all the significant metrics.
The
Planning Hub
Component helps to filter out the trips by the hub name/hub code.The
Trip Search
Component helps to search for a particular trip by the trip number.
The
Date Filter
Component is used for filtering out consignments by adding a range of date for theLast Updated
/Created At
/Started At
/Assigned At
/Completed At
fields. For the fieldScheduled At
, the date of scheduling is required.
There are multiple buckets which classify each of the trips according to their current status and place those trips under it.
The user can download Trip wise data and Order wise data for the trips under a specific bucket by using the
Download
Button provided.The user is provided with a
Refresh
Button to be able to get a live status update of the trip.The
View Settings
is used to set up and configure the columns shown for a particular bucket.In
Trip options
, the user is provided with the option to:Track : it takes the user to the tracking page of the particular trip
Download : it downloads the trip report document in the .pdf format
Trip Details View
The user can see all the trip details including consignment list using this view. To access this, click on the Trip Number on the
Trip Manager
Screen of which you want to view details of.The user can manually update some of the trip details, it will be shown ahead.
The user can edit the Vehicle used and the Driver for the trip and replace them with another.
The
Add Tasks
Button is used to add additional tasks to a trip, both Delivery and Pickup tasks.
The
Actions
Button is used to perform additional actions for the trip, these actions can only be taken before the trip is started:Start Trip : To manually start the trip.
Upon starting the trip, a modal comes up that asks for the initial odometer reading.
Delete Trip : To manually delete the trip from the record.
Upon clicking this option, a modal comes up for confirmation of this action
Click OK and the trip is now deleted.
Remove Consignments : To remove tasks from the trip task list.
Firstly, select the consignments that you want to remove from the trip.
Click on this action button to remove selected consignments.
A confirmation modal pops up, click on OK and the consignments are removed from the trip.
Calculate ETA : To calculate estimated time of arrival from the time the trip is to be started
Click on this action button, a modal comes up
Enter the simulation date and time from when the ETA is to be calculated.
Click on OK, the ETA calculation request is generated, and then it is visible on the trip details.
Reorder Stops : To reorder the stops that are generated by the Shipsy Engine.
Upon clicking this action button, the details' page changes to a mode where one can reorder consignments.
Reorder the consignments as per the requirement by dragging.
Click on Save to save this order of consignments for the trip
Remove Stops : To remove the stops from the stops list.
Under the
Stops
section, select the stops you want to remove from the trip.Click on this action button, a confirmation modal shows up.
Click on OK, the stops are then removed from the stops list.
The
Actions
Button is used to perform additional actions for the trip, these actions can only be taken after the trip is started:End Trip : To manually end the trip.
Calculate ETA : To calculate estimated time of arrival from that given point in time after trip start.
The consignments in the trip can be manually transferred to another trip by the
CN Movement
Button, and can be removed from the trip by using theCN Removal
Button.The sections
Consignments
,Trip Tracking
, andStops
show the consignments list, tracking logs and the stops list respectively for a particular trip.
