Creating a Pickup Trip

Go to the Consignments Dashboard → Click on Unplanned bucket

Open

Here, there are two ways to create a pickup trip:

Method 1 - Manual

1. In the Unplanned bucket, select the consignments with the status 'Pickup Awaited' that you want to pick up in this trip, or filter out the consignments using the filters available on the dashboard.

2. Click on Custom Trip button, it provides three methods of providing data of consignments that are to be picked up in the trip, as shown in the picture.

   1. All Filtered - This option selects all the consignments on the screen remaining after the filters.

      1. Click on this option, a window appears.

      2. Select the rider that will go for this pickup trip.

      3. Additionally, select Schedule this trip option if you want to schedule this trip and select the date/time.

      4. Click on Create button.

          

   2. Scan/Selected - This options considers all the consignments that the user has manually selected.

      1. Click on this option, a window appears.

      2. Scan consignment labels/Add consignments if you want to add in additional consignments for this trip.

      3. Select the rider that will go for this pickup trip.

      4. Additionally, select Schedule this trip option if you want to schedule this trip and select the date/time.

      5. Click on Create button.

          

   3. Upload - This option collects the consignments mentioned in the Excel sheet that the user shall upload.

      1. Click on this option, a window appears.

      2. Click on Download a sample file option to get a sample Excel data sheet

      3. Edit it to add consignment data and upload/drag and drop on the window

      4. Click on Create button.

      5. Select the rider that will go for this pickup trip.

      6. Additionally, select Schedule this trip option if you want to schedule this trip and select the date/time.

      7. Click on Create button.

Method 2 - Automatic

1. In the Unplanned bucket, select the consignments with the status 'Pickup Awaited' that you want to pick up in this trip, or filter out the consignments using the filters available on the dashboard.

    

2. Click on Create Route button, it provides three methods of providing data of consignments that are to be picked up in the trip, as shown in the picture below

   1. Upload - This option collects the consignments mentioned in the Excel sheet that the user shall upload.

      1. Click on this option, a window appears.

      2. Click on Download a sample file option to get a sample Excel data sheet

      3. Edit it to add consignment data and upload/drag and drop on the window

      4. Click on Yes, an auto allocation request is sent to Shipsy server.

      5. The trip is now created.

   2. Scan/Selected - This options considers all the consignments that the user has manually selected.

      1. Click on this option, a window appears.

      2. Select the time slot for route optimization.

      3. Click on Yes, an auto allocation request is sent to Shipsy server.

      4. The trip is now created.

          

   3. All Filtered - This option selects all the consignments on the screen remaining after the filters.

      1. Click on this option, a window appears.

      2. Select the time slot for route optimization.

      3. Click on Yes, an auto allocation request is sent to Shipsy server.

      4. The trip is now created.
