Routes

Definition

The way of a course or travel from one place to another or from starting point to the destination is called a route. Shipsy has a comprehensive route master as part of the transport management suite which allows transport manager to maintain record of routes.

How to Use

  1. To access Route, Navigate to the main menu > Setup.

  2. In the Setup section, select Assets & then Transport. 

  3. Once the transport section is opened, we can select the route in many of the tabs/options available on the top.

  4. In this page, we can check all the routes available for the particular hub & also for the all hubs based on the access provided.

  5. We can use the update option to update any of the existing routes by providing the required information in the excel. 

  6. We can also enable or disable the routes using the same update option by uploading the excel.

  7. We can use the Add new option to add any new routes by providing the valid information & uploading the excel.

  8. Using the Download button beside the Add new button, we can download all the existing route data. Meanwhile we can also select the disabled & enabled option for the same.

  9. By clicking any of the Route codes mentioned in the routes, we can get all the information about the route created like starting point, destination, time of journey, nodes of journey, distance & etc.
