Custom metrics are the way to add a custom column to a report. One can add a custom column/metric with the help of following steps:
Click on 3 dots present just opposite to data setup icon.
A pop up stating 'custom metrics' shall appear beneath it.
Click on custom metrics icon. A menu bar would appear on the right side of the screen.
Write the name of custom metric in 'pretty name' section.
Choose the type of data that is to be tracked in custom metric.
Now, write the SQL query for the custom metric.
Thereafter, click on add button.
Your Custom Metric is successfully added. This can be seen in columns present in selected table.
