Enable or Disable a Template

Users can refer to this document to understand how to disable or enable already existing templates.

Instructions

Follow these instructions to enable or disable already existing templates:

Navigating to Communication Config

  1. Click on the hamburger menu icon

  2. Select Setup and Communication Config from the sub-menu

  3. Users are then redirected to the templates list view page. This page has two sub tabs - message setup and email setup. The default landing page is message setup

Disabling an Existing Template

  1. To disable a template, the user is required to click on the kebab menu icon under the actions column

  2. This opens a drop down menu including three options - edit, disable and delete

  3. To disable a template, click on disable

  4. The template is now disabled, status changes to red, denoting disabled

Enabling an Existing Template

  1. To enable a template, the user is required to click on the kebab menu icon under the actions column

  2. This opens a drop down menu including three options - edit, enable and delete

  3. To enable the selected template, click on enable

  4. The template is now enabled, status changes to green, denoting enabled

Please note, while these steps are common for SMS and Whatsapp and allow the user to disable/enable the config and the template, users can only disable/enable the config of the email from this section. To disable/enable the email template, the user will have to follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the Email Setup section

  2. To disable an email template, the user is required to click on the kebab menu icon under the actions column

  3. This opens a drop down menu including three options - edit, disable and delete

  4. To disable an email template, click on disable

  5. The template is now disabled, status changes to red, denoting disabled

Enabling an Email Template

  1. Navigate to the Email Setup section

  2. To enable an email template, the user is required to click on the kebab menu icon under the actions column

  3. This opens a drop down menu including three options - edit, enable and delete

  4. To enable an email template, click on enable

  5. The template is now enabled, status changes to green, denoting enabled
