What is Last Mile?

The process of transporting goods from the last distribution centre or warehouse (Destination Hub) to customers’ place is referred to as Last Mile.

For instance, if an e-commerce or any other company ships their products via any courier company, then the last mile would be the transportation of goods from the courier company’s final warehouse (nearest to the customer) to the customers' place.

It is the last leg of the supply chain operations of a business.
